JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
 

  • Work under direct supervision of Senior Field Engineer.  Assisting Senior Field Engineer with construction inspection and construction administrative task involved with industrial sites. 
  • Speaking with contractor helping solve issues that arise on the job site.
  • Assist with civil/structural design and redlining plans to send to Engineer of Record (EOR)
  • Developing RFIs, MTOs, Daily Construction Reports.
  • Coordination involving contractor quotes for materials, labor, etc.
  • Coordination and interaction between contractors and EOR regarding questions associated with construction plans and specifications.
  • Keep construction plans up to date and track materials.
  • Assist in updating/building schedules for design/constructions/subs.
  • This position does require extensive travel to various regions of the US. Typical duration of construction will last 12 to 18 months at a time at each industrial facility.
  • Additional detailed information regarding approximate hours per week, travel, expenses, housing will be provided during interview process.
    Qualifications:
     
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
    • 0+ years of experience.
    • Experience in the following software would be preferred but aren’t required.
    • AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit, Navisworks, Word, Excel, Microsoft Projects, and Procore
  • Ability to learn on the job, and research codes.
  • Be highly organized to manage detailed project information and prioritize tasks.
  • Has strong computer literacy and excellent written and oral communication skills.
