The Opportunity

As an Underwriting Consultant - Advanced on MassMutual's Accelerated Underwriting Team, you will be part of a dynamic group of underwriters dedicated to fulfilling the commitment of MassMutual's accelerated (fluidless) underwriting strategy.  This is a fast-paced diverse work environment that is inclusive and values different experiences, backgrounds, and knowledge.  You will be immersed in a team with a primary focus on delivering quality fluidless underwriting decisions within expected time standards.

The Team

The Accelerated Underwriting Team consists of underwriters specializing in cases trending towards a fluidless underwriting outcome. This includes a diverse mix of both early-career and seasoned professionals, collectively contributing to the team's success. • Train, mentor and/or co-sign less-experienced underwriters
  • Influence and champion changes to improve processes while maintaining mortality expectations
  • Ability to tailor communication style to fit the target audience
