As the Front Pharmacy Technician, you will be asked to shadow to demonstrate what right looks like as a fully proficient Technician. Positively contributes to overall team motivation and drives team engagement. As permitted by state regulation, interprets providers' prescriptions and creates order, assesses, inputs and retrieves prescription, medical/lab and reimbursement information from computer system.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST, 40 hours per week

Primary Responsibilities:
- Prescription requestsÂ
- Entry, billing, and submittal of the customer's order to fulfillment for delivery assist with operations support, training, and process improvements
- Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content
- Creation/ routing of pharmacy orders through receipt
- Demonstrate handling both inbound and outbound member/patient calls
- Prep and scan documents, verify member/patient data submit prescription orders in computer system
- May contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information and establish priority of order or delivery details
- Applies knowledge/skills to a range of moderately complex activities
- Demonstrates great depth of knowledge/skills in own function
- Acts as a technical resource to others in own function
- Proactively identifies solutions to non-standard requests
- Solves moderately complex problems on own
- Works with team to solve complex problems
- Plans, prioritizes, organizes, and completes work to meet established objectives
- Provide an exceptional customer experience with every interaction
- Provide a holistic approach to case management by completing the following duties for each customer assigned
- Extensive work experience within own function
- Work is frequently completed without established procedures
- Works independently
- May coordinate others activities

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- Active and unrestricted State NHA CpHT license OR Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician Certification via EXCPT or PTCB without restrictions or ability to obtain prior to start date
- 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- Currently reside within Illinois or Iowa
- Ability to work Monday – Friday between the hours of 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (40 hours per week)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Patient experience
- Call-center or telephonic workÂ
