What will your compensation be?:$25.00 per hour
When does this adventure begin?:This role is posted for our spring/summer 2025 season!
What will you do in this job?:Provide support to the Accounting/People & Culture department including accounts payable, vendor contacts, compiling reports, cash handling, and file maintenance and data entry. Assist with on-boarding and hire paperwork as well as the off-boarding process as well. Special projects as assigned.

- Daily vault counts and records
- Daily cash deposit counts and records according to the standard operating procedure
- Daily spot checks of operational cash banks
- Provides change for operational department in accordance to the procedure
- Pulls credit cards settlement reports from Cayan, Shift 4, Merchant Link and Micros and Retail Pro Sales for daily revenue balancing
- Provides information for Alaska Collection accounting office via Talkeetna daily balancing tables
- Investigation of discrepancies: sales reports vs. settlement, and directions for corrections for relevant departments
ATM check request orders; Maintains ATM, stocks ATM with cash, orders checks for ATM, runs reports for ATM and tracks revenue
Tracks cash deposits shortages and overages; address them with management
- Arrive to work on time, ready to work, with a neat and clean appearance
- Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner in a variety of situations
- Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
- Good vocabulary, spelling skills, and knowledge of proper grammar
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Must be tolerant of cultural differences and have strong listening skills
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices and the basic application and use of concepts, theories, and terminology of accounting
- Proficient with MS Office
