What will you do in this job?:

Safety, anticipating guest needs, honoring our surroundings and bringing your best every day are the core values we live by in order to provide dynamic guest service at the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. As the Food and Beverage Administrator, you will provide office services while working closely with the staff in an efficient, courteous and dedicated manner.

 

You will have a range of duties in order to assist the wait staff including:

  • Assist F&B Front of House Operations Manager and Executive Chef with invoice coding and procedures on a daily basis
  • Coordinate with Events Manager to track and print vouchers for groups
  • Maintain tip sharing and Banquet gratuity spreadsheet on a daily basis
  • Assist Events Manager with group manifest and updating event calendar
  • Ensure billing procedures are completed within allotted timeline
What skills and experience do you need for this job?:
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred
  • Proficiency in the use of computers, F&B software, databases, reservation systems and property management systems. Strong MS Office skills
  • Willing to work long hours, various shifts, split shifts, and on holidays and weekends
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
  • Thrives in a fast-paced and high energy work environment
  • High degree of sensitivity regarding confidential information
