Responsibilities: The Non-Income Tax Reporting team manages the compliance with the various non-income tax filing requirements on behalf of the US Citi entities. The Sr. Tax Analyst is a seasoned professional role requiring an in-depth disciplinary knowledge. This role is responsible for supporting personal property tax compliance and other non-income tax obligations with a focus on a strong risk and control discipline, process standardization, effective collaboration with the businesses and functions, and utilization of various technology tools. The Tax Sr. Analyst role is responsible for the following deliverables: Prepare and file personal property tax returns and other non-income tax filings Generate corporate tax and fee payments to state and local taxing jurisdictions Determine tax accruals and process corresponding journal entries Analyze and reconcile the property tax payable accounts Review and validate property tax assessments and prepare appeals as necessary Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes. Conduct tax research of the property tax rules and regulations Manage local property tax audits Qualifications: 8+ years of tax experience including personal property tax experience required Candidate should possess a strong working knowledge of property appraisal and assessment principles, knowledge of state and local laws, regulations, and policies governing local assessment practices, and familiarity with property tax jurisdictions throughout the country. Applicant must be a team player who is detail-oriented, organized, and a multi-tasker with strong time-management skills. The successful candidate will excel at analyzing problems and identifying solutions. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Access and other digital tools preferred Must be proficient in PMTS Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
