WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Support Material Services Operations Team Lead to ensure management of yard operations, part receipt, and onsite delivery processes. Group Lead will conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify issues and implement corrective actions, while also managing changes in daily operations. Additionally, the Associate will serve as the primary liaison to South East Express for operational matters.


RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

•    Assist new & existing associate training, process understanding, application, enforcement of Honda policies    5%
•    Evaluation of associate skillset/performance and development. Development focus on logistics and material service core fundamentals    5%
•    Support Team Lead with monthly reporting to identify and share top concerns, RCA, and counter measure effectiveness through PDCA cycle    5%
•    Coordinate meeting with In-house departments, SEE, and groups to address issues and spearhead counter measure.     20%
•    Work with Manufacturing departments & SEE to address daily mass production delivery issues by completed investigation utilizing Honda problem solving tools for analysis.     35%
•    Correlate with SEE on SQCD issue and approve changes/counter measures prior to Team Lead/Unit Lead Final approval     25%
•    Review and approve Material Service SOPs     5%
•        


EDUCATION
  Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Manufacturing Management, or other related field

EXPERIENCE

5+ years experience within a manufacturing environment and supervising associates
