Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is seeking a Sr Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Sr Engineering Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr Engineering Technician
Location: Torrance, CA
Pay Range: $38 per hour
What's the Job?
- Study and record time, motion, methods, and speed to improve efficiency and establish a standard production rate in maintenance, production, clerical, and other operations.
- Utilize expertise in electro-mechanical systems to analyze blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Perform J-standard soldering on printed circuit boards and engage in the manufacturing and repair of cables and harnesses.
- Conduct computer repairs and fabricate test boxes as required.
- Direct and lead the work of others while relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
What's Needed?
- A high school degree or its equivalent.
- 4-6 years of experience in the engineering field.
- Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
- Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks with creativity and latitude.
- Strong leadership skills to guide team members effectively.
