TRC is seeking a Sr Civil Engineer to join a growing team. This is a full-time permanent position that will be responsible for leading the design efforts for various projects. This position requires a highly skilled and experienced engineer with a strong understanding of civil site design principles and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design team in developing comprehensive civil site design plans and other infrastructure elements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the design aligns with overall project goals and meets all relevant codes and standards.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations for civil site components.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for design purposes.
• Prepare and review construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies to obtain necessary approvals for design plans.
• Oversee the construction phase of projects, providing technical support and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers and design staff.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil site design
• Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant design software
