As an Outpatient Physical Therapist, you'll assess, plan, and implement rehabilitative programs that enhance mobility, relieve pain, and prevent deformities for patients recovering from injury or illness. You'll deliver quality care across multiple locations while ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, set goals, and create discharge plans tailored to each patient's needs.

  • Care Provision: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities to achieve patient goals, and provide ongoing education for patients and families.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions following departmental guidelines.

  • Customer Service: Foster a positive environment, apply AIDET principles in patient interactions, and support teamwork among colleagues.

  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous education and participate in training new staff to maintain high standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program; Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy required.

  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia and Basic Life Support certification.

  • Skills: Strong communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer proficiency.
