• UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 502 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

The operating room aide is responsible for the turnover of rooms in the

surgical suite, and assists in the preparation of surgical cases under the direction of a Registered

Nurse.

Job Requirements: 

• High School diploma or equivalent required. 

Preferred Job Requirements: 

• One year of related experience in a hospital or outpatient operating room.
