Responsibilities

  • Performs all procedures relevant to breast imaging.
  • A comprehensive approach to breast health is utilized in accordance with departmental policy at the three sites of service.
  • These include the Breast Care Center, off-site screening mammography service, and the mobile mammography van.
  • Participates in required technical and program continuous quality improvement activities anddemonstrates exceptional patient service skills.

Qualifications

Job Requirements: 
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program
  • Currently ARRT – R and Texas Department of Health Registered
  • Current BLS certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire within 30 days
  • One year as a Radiologic technologist
  • One year as a mammography technologist 

Preferred Job Requirements: 

  • Preferred mobile mammography experience
  • Certified in Mammography, ARRT – M registered preferred
