Get to Know Your Team: 

  • UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Lead Technologist in Surgery and the Radiology Lightroom Coordinator shall perform radiographic examinations in the surgical setting.
  • Shall work with minimum supervision, expedite case work schedule with the lead technologist and insure smooth interaction amongst physician staff as well as related surgery staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program
  • Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
  • Basic Life Support Certification
