Our client in the automotive industry is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join their team. As an Automotive Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance and repair team supporting the production of high-quality race components and products. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Santa Clarita, California
Pay Range: $25.00/h - $35.00/h
What's the Job?
- Responsible for building and rebuilding of Honda’s racing chassis/vehicles and hybrid systems including quality control checks and final fitting of new parts, component sub-assembly or final assembly of new or rebuilt chassis, as well as teardown, inspection and measuring components.
- Includes the training of new associates in the correct procedures and methods used to produce high-quality race components/products.
- Support objectives for optimal race car performance, reliability, and drivability.
- Perform quality inspections on chassis components, record findings.
- Assist in determining countermeasures for chassis/vehicle faults.
What's Needed?
- Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and some experience where the primary function of the position was maintenance and repair work on automotive and/or heavy equipment.
- Auto Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or a related field or possession of a certificate from a post-secondary vocational school is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform difficult repairs on all types of automobiles.
- Ability to readily and accurately diagnose mechanical difficulties.
- Ability to read and interpret technical repair manuals, circuit diagrams and blueprints.
