Housekeeper

Overview:

Perform a combination of cleaning duties in at man-camp in 101 Summer ST.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Clean rooms, restrooms.
• Make beds, do laundry, fold linens and towels.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and restroom waste to disposal areas.
• Keep storage areas clean and organized.
• Replenish supplies bathroom items from stock. Notify supervisor of low stock items.
• Monitor and maintain a high level of safe and sanitary working conditions.
• Aid in the cleaning/inspections grounds for safety, cleanliness, and appearance
• Willingness to perform others duties as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.

Education and/or Experience:

Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong client/customer service skills.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as work effectively with a team.
• Organized, reliable, and responsible.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and/or willing to learn.

Work Environment:

Work is performed primarily indoors. Exposure to extreme weather conditions (Arctic) while working outside of the camp is to be expected.
