RN - Program Manager - WCMC Nursing Excellence - Full Time - 8 Hour - Days

Education: 

• Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing - Required 

• Bachelor's Degree - Health or Human Service field, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Allied Health, or Related Field - Required •Master's Degree - Health or Human Service field - Preferred 
   

Experience: 

• 2 years Lead Role - Required 

• 5 years with multidisciplinary work groups - Required 
   

Additional Experience Requirements: 

• At least 2 years of experience must include responsibilities as a member of a team, workgroup or program. 

• Minimum 5years experience working with multi-disciplinary work groups, including clinical staff, focused on evidence-based practice, patient safety, and/or quality improvement initiatives in a hospital or health care organization.
   

Certifications/Licensures: 

• RN - Registered Nurse - Current California License - Required 

• Specialty Certifications - ANCC American Nurses Credentialing Center Required within 2 years of hire and must be included in the list of allowed certifications by ANCC for Magnet demographics 

• Ability to listen, problem-solve, and develop strong interpersonal relationships with others 

• Excellent leadership attributes including a positive, can-do attitude, creativity, and enthusiasm. 

• Experience authoring written documents or reports for the healthcare sector. 

• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and nursing research.

• Knowledge of performance improvement principles, theories, and practices. 

• Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of individuals. 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point). 

• Strong verbal presentation skills.
