Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector has a need for an Electrical Engineer or Principal Electrical Engineer at its Subsystem and Software Sustainment (S&SS) organization in Warner Robins, GA. This engineering position is for a role on our Hardware Engineering Team. In this role you will be supporting Electronic Warfare and Radar Development programs. Our ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, a drive to lead from where you are, collaborative people skills, and the proven ability to work within a technically diverse and fast-paced team. This position is in Warner Robins, GA and requires that you work on-site daily. Your responsibilities will include: Perform design and development of analog circuits, digital circuits, microcontrollers, FPGAs, equipment racks, circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, and test equipment. Research, design, develop, and test a variety of RF circuits including amplifiers, filters, mixers, up and down converters, and modulators/demodulators. Access, interpret, and recommend changes to engineering drawings. Interact with other team members and software group to determine interfaces and operating characteristics. Develop specifications for, and perform selection of, components for use in electrical equipment. Frequent opportunities to interact with Program Management, external suppliers and/or government customers, therefore excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are essential to succeeding in this role. This position may be filled at the Electrical Engineer OR Principal Electrical Engineer level.
