We are looking for a Pulmonary Technologist for our NCR Pulmonology practice in Washington, D.C. The Pulmonology Techologist measures, analyzes and records pulmonary function procedures, and performs non-invasive Cardiac diagnostic procedures on the patient care units, in the department, or in the outpatient clinic. The Pulmonary Function/Cardiac Technologist serves as an intermediate to a high level resource capable of independent work with the Pulmonary Laboratory when performing routine pulmonary function testing and cardiac monitoring.

Location: 5215 Loughboro Rd. Washngton, D.C.20016

Status: Non-Exempt - Full-time - 40 hours per week

What you'll need to be successful:

  • High School diploma or GED with certificate in respiratory therapy OR Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy OR Bachelor’s degree in health science or biology required.
  • CPR (BLS) certification required. Credentialing through the N.B.R.C. as a respiratory care practitioner or pulmonary function technologist required. (certification and/or registry). Must maintain certification throughout employment. If not credentialed, must become credentialed within 2 years of employment.
  • One year (12 months) experience in a pulmonary function lab, preferably in an academic/research environment.

Salary Range: Minimum $24.17 per hour - Maximum $39.91 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
