As a not-for-profit and full-service community hospital, Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley’s campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers. As part of the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center, the Sullivan Breast Center at Sibley Memorial Hospital is dedicated to breast health and the care and treatment of breast cancer.

General Summary:

  • Operates all breast imaging equipment located in the Breast Center for the purposes of performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams according to physician’s orders and assisting with needle localizations, stereotactic breast biopsies and ultrasound biopsies.

    Ensures that our commitment to excellence in customer service is accomplished throughout the daily work schedule. Fosters a positive work environment for patients, colleagues and referring physicians. Ensures compliance with all the terms and conditions of the Mammography Quality Standards Act.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Advanced mammography registration RT(R)(M).
  • Proficient in interventional procedures (stereotactic biopsy, sonographic biopsy and needle localization).

Shift: Full time, Day Shift, 40 hours per week. No call or weekend work is required.

Salary Range: Minimum 36.47 per hour - Maximum 60.17 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
