Great Weekend Opportunity!!
The Vascular Technologist initiates and performs routine and complex vascular tests and measurements by use and expertise of ultrasound and Doppler equipment. Acquires and evaluates data, while exercising discretion and judgment in performance of the clinical examination.
Shift:
Saturday and/or Sunday, first shift: 8:30a - 5p.
Occassional second shift coverage on weekdays begining at 2:00 pm or 3:00 pm.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have attended an approved school for vascular Sonography or have equivalent experience that is accepted for registration with ARDMS.
- Must be RVT certified or registry eligible and pass boards within one year of employment.
Essential Functions and Skills Include:
- Performs all vascular procedures according to department protocols. Follows and observes all of the standards and protocols of accreditation set forth by ACR
- Sets-up, performs and compiles data for peripheral venous and arterial exams involving knowledge and operation of equipment and ability to discuss and review results with physician.
- Performs carotid procedures utilizing transducer to manually trace blood flow through vessels, reviews and reports findings to physician. Compiles data and prepares technologists findings for physician’s final interpretation
Salary Range: Minimum $54.00 per hour - Maximum $54.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
