Position Title: Assembly Maintenance Technician

Wage: $22.00 - $24.00/hour

Shift: 2nd

Hours: 2:00pm - 10:30pm (Able to Train on 1st Shift)

Assembly Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
- Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plan for and take corrective actions
- Make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
- Review production schedule and when equipment is not scheduled for manufacturing, changes over equipment to new pole sizes of performs scheduled maintenance
- Test equipment to check operations
- Clear jams and inspect product after setup or repair
- Examine, test and measure product from assigned equipment for quality specification, using gauges and instruments, and records the data on appropriate forms
- Check products for visual defects
- Examine defects and analyze causes and where possible
- Operate equipment during relief periods or manpower shortages
- Perform product examination and rework when assigned
- Requisition and inspect materials and department products
- Assign maintenance personnel and schedules to maximize production schedules
- Set up machines and repairs them as needed

Requirements for Assembly Maintenance Technician:
- High School Diploma with trade school
- At least two years of experience as Maintenance “B” Technician or a combination of 5 years experience
- Previous assembly or other type of machinery operation experience is a plus
- Able to multi-task
- Able to use precision measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers, comparators, etc.)
- Able to converse and write in English using technical terms for the production industry
- Working knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, English/metric conversions and simple application geometry
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
