QPS Employment Group has a great Seed Sizing Associate position available at a company in Waverly, NE. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.Â
 Seed Sizing Associate Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Processing seed through different size screens.Â
- Responsible for carrying out procedures to help produce clean, uniform and appropriately sized coated and non-coated seed products.Â
- Transferring of coated and non-coated seed products to the Sizing area, performing coated and non-coated seed product inspections prior to conducting seed sizing and cleaning operations.
- Inspections involve notating of the size and shape uniformity, color, any abnormality including the evidence of potential seed or non-seed contamination, and integrity within a particular coated or non-coated seed product.
- Depending on the size of the particular seed product batch, standing with periodic sitting and / or squatting may be necessary.
- Transferring of coated or non-coated seed product into and out of the Seed Sizing processing area and loading of the seed sizing and cleaning equipment may involve the use of a forklift, dolly truck, or, in some cases, hand carry, depending on the quantity of the coated or non-coated seed product batch.
- Ancillary responsibilities in the Seed Sizing area include data entry, label making, and creation of worksheets to determine pre and post-processing seed number variance within a coated or noncoated seed product work order.
- Additional responsibilities are general housekeeping and area upkeep.
Seed Sizing Associate Requirements:
- Seed product batches exceeding 50 lbs. are transferred via dolly truck, forklift, or overhead crane. Seed product batches up to 50 lbs. may be hand carried.
