TRC Talent seeks an experienced Project Engineer a global manufacturer in the power distribution arene. This is for their Medium Voltage (4.16-38 kV) Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) team. You will design, develop, and support electrical power distribution systems while collaborating with project engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers to meet project requirements. Bachelors degree, knowledge of autocad and experience designing medium voltage switchgear.
Position can sit remotely within the US.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed designs for AIS switchgear based on customer specifications.
Create electrical drawings and documentation using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical).
Work with project engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
Initiate product and process improvements through cross-functional collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
3+ years of experience with electrical power distribution products, preferably with switchgear.
Strong knowledge of protection and control technologies for medium voltage systems.
Experience reading and analyzing electrical schematics.
Ability to multitask and manage large workloads.

Experience with Siemens switchgear and CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical).
Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, and NEMA standards.
Experience with data centers, utilities, or industrial customers.
