JOB TITLE: Medical Assistant - Full Time

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with all functions associated with patient care - as a member of the patient care team. These duties include coordinating patient services, patient preparation, endoscope processing, instrument care and a variety of tasks as requested by nursing in a clinical setting. The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with medical and nursing staff, external agencies and patients.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization recommended but not required. 
  • Certification NOT Required.
