Home Patient Care Technician
The Home Patient Care Technician must demonstrate familiarity with dialysis procedures and the knowledge, skills, and judgement necessary to assume the responsibility of caring for the dialysis patient in the home setting as needed. This position exercises knowledge of patient rights and ensures an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity, and well-being of all patients in a safe, secure environment. Position works under the supervision of a physician or registered nurse experienced or trained in dialysis treatment. Cooperates and works together with all co-workers to plan and complete job duties with applicable supervisory direction, including exercising job appropriate judgement. National certification, HS diploma, or GED required. Previous patient care experience preferred.
