Reporting to Controller, the Senior Accountant is responsible for interpreting accounting data, financial reporting, and other general accounting duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Planning, Analysis, and Budgeting
路 Analyze operating results and variances to plan
路 Assist with the annual budget planning process
路 Assist with the mid-term plan process
路 Assist with updating the consolidated forecast
路 Prepare segment P&L reports
路 Support finance team with in-depth analysis
路 Prepare month-end executive-level reports
路 Assist with developing advanced reporting models to streamline monthly reporting and budgeting/forecasting process
Cost Analysis:
路 Conduct detailed cost analysis of company operations, including production, labor, and overhead costs.
路 Prepare cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability.
路 Collaborate with operations and finance teams to analyze and track budget performance.
路 Provide cost-related insights to support pricing strategies, capital projects, and inventory management.
路 Develop and maintain standard cost models for key processes.
路 Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting, ensuring cost-effective decision-making.
Inventory Management:
路 Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking, valuation, and reporting of inventory levels.
路 Implement and maintain inventory controls to minimize waste, discrepancies, and obsolescence.
路 Perform regular inventory reconciliations and physical counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
路 Analyze inventory variances and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
路 Develop strategies for optimizing inventory turnover while maintaining adequate stock levels.
路 Support supply chain and procurement teams in inventory planning and forecasting.
Accounting Duties
路 Prepare and review month-end journal entries
路 Prepare year-end and quarterly PBC (Prepared by Client) schedules in support of audits and reviews
路 Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
路 Assist with performing research on new accounting regulations that may impact the company
路 Review financial statements for completeness and accuracy

路 Expert level proficiency with MS Office; advanced skill set with Excel
路 Proficiency with SAP or ERP system equivalent
路 Ability to follow Company policies and safety guidelines
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor鈥檚 degree from a four-year institution in accounting or equivalent. CPA certification is required. A minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience with at least two years at a senior level.
