Position Overview:
We are looking for a Process Technician to join our team at our solar panel warehouse in White, GA. This role is critical to ensuring efficient, consistent, and high-quality processes in our warehouse and production areas. The Process Technician will monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize manufacturing processes and equipment to meet production goals while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor daily production processes to ensure efficiency and identify areas for improvement. Adjust equipment settings and parameters to optimize the production of solar panels.
- Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical or operational issues within the process line. Work with maintenance teams to repair or replace faulty equipment as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality standards by conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions when deviations occur.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of process changes, machine settings, and production data. Report performance metrics and deviations to the Production Manager.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for production processes.
- Training & Support: Train operators and new team members on process procedures, equipment operation, and safety protocols. Provide technical assistance to production staff as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, including OSHA and facility policies, to maintain a safe working environment. Identify and address potential hazards to minimize risk.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in manufacturing, process technology, or related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or process technician role, preferably in the solar, electronics, or renewable energy industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical troubleshooting, and quality control practices. Experience with production machinery and control systems is preferred.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret process data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve process performance.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks in a production environment.
- Other Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
