Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented PQC Technician to join our team at our solar panel warehouse in White, GA. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards for our solar panel products by performing inspections, testing, and quality assurance throughout the manufacturing and warehousing process. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, knowledgeable in quality control procedures, and dedicated to upholding our commitment to excellence in renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Inspections: Perform regular inspections of solar panels and components during different production stages to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Testing & Measurement: Conduct various product tests, including electrical performance, durability, and environmental resistance tests, to verify product integrity.
- Documentation & Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, test data, and any non-conformances. Report quality issues and improvement suggestions to the Quality Manager.
- Root Cause Analysis: Investigate quality issues, analyze root causes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop corrective actions.
- Process Audits: Assist in conducting process audits to verify adherence to quality standards and identify potential areas for improvement.
- Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Calibrate and maintain testing tools and equipment to ensure consistent and accurate measurements.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline quality control processes and reduce product defects.
- Compliance: Ensure that all quality control procedures comply with industry regulations and internal standards, including ISO, OSHA, and facility-specific guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in quality control, manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in the solar, electronics, or manufacturing industries.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in using measurement tools, gauges, and testing equipment. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, interpret data, and make accurate assessments of product quality.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs, and work in warehouse environments.
- Other Skills: Excellent attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
