Job Title: Manufacturing Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on robotic equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate has a strong technical electronic background in mechanics, electronics, or automation and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including assembly lines, conveyors, motors, and robotics.
- Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose mechanical, electronic, and control system issues and make timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Technical Support: Assist with the installation, setup, and calibration of new machinery and equipment. Support production teams by ensuring all equipment is functional and safe.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate maintenance records, including repair logs, inspection reports, and inventory of parts and supplies.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure machines meet operational and safety standards. Identify and address potential safety hazards.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for equipment and process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field (e.g., mechanical or electrical engineering) is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with mechanical, electronics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read technical manuals and schematics, blue prints.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in various manufacturing conditions.
- Additional Requirements: Familiarity with PLCs, , or VFD variable frequency drive, fix alot of automated machines, robotics is a plus, experince with automated machines

Location:Whitsett NC
Schedule: 2 oepnings-1st shift 8am-4pm and 2nd shfit 4pm-12am. Must be able to be on call every 3rd week.
Pay Range-$30.75-$36.00 hrly
