Cornea Ophthalmologist

Geisinger is seeking a Cornea trained Ophthalmologist to fill a rewarding position in the Department of Ophthalmology at the new Healthplex in Pittston, Pennsylvania. Located near Scranton/ Wilkes Barre in Northeast PA, close to the Pocono Mountains. Geisinger Eye Institute: a driven, successful, and growing multi-specialty group integrating both optometric and ophthalmologic services. Advanced technologies in diagnostic FA, Fundus Camera, HVF, Goldman Field, IOL Master, Immersion, OCT, Pachymetry, UBM, Idesign, anterior segment OCT and Topography. Treatment options, including SLT Laser, YAG Laser, Argon Laser, excimer laser. Support from Optometrists. Practice location has 50 exam rooms located at the outpatient surgery center. Shared call (home call). A large referral base from our onsite Optometrists, local Ophthalmologists and physicians in our satellite offices. Opportunity to perform cross linking, LASIK, DSEK, DMEK Opportunities to develop new program, perform research, and teach residents in a large, tertiary referral center.
