Food and Beverage Server, Little League World Series

The Opportunity 

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Food and Beverage Vendors to join our team at Little League World Series in S. Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

As a Food and Beverage Vendor, you will be responsible for selling water, soda or other food and beverage products to guests throughout the venue, in accordance with the company’s service policies and operational standards.

Pay

$12.00 - $12.00 / hour

This job is a Temporary Position that will work a schedule from August 14th - August 25th, 2024.

Shift times do vary, but tentatively are from 10am - 3pm and 3pm - 9pm.

Responsibilities 

• Circulates among guests within assigned sections; calls out and sells beverage products like water and soda while adhering to all guest service requirements
• Hands or passes items sold to guests, receives payment, and makes required change. 
• Checks out items to replenish stock, turns in money for sales. 
• Stocks items assigned.
• Rotates to other areas as needed.
• Reports to work for scheduled events on a timely basis.

Qualifications 

• Must be comfortable approaching guests for sales 
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory.
• Strong communication skills, including listening skills and ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of following job guidelines and supervisors instructions.
• Ability to work hours that vary according to the event.
• Previous cash handling experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements 

• Frequent walking throughout venue for entire length of shift.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs frequently for entire length of shift.
• Ability to maintain one’s balance.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for entire length of shift.
• Ability to raise and project voice to market and sell product, for entire length of shift.
• Ability to withstand outdoor summer temperatures
