Tekni-Plex, Inc in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring for a Slitter Operator to join their Production Team. Tekni-Plex's Winston Salem location is the largest facility within the Consumer Products division, offering a career path with the industry along with a safe and inclusive working environment! The Slitter Operator is responsible for packaging, palletizing, unloading and sleeving product from production equipment. This individual is also expected to assist in the operation of all manufacturing process equipment.

Responsibilities:
- Assists Production Tech with order processing, changes and set-up.
- Bags, boxes or palletizes finished product.
- Performs quality inspections and tests.
- Positions sheet rolls on unwind stand and starts sheet into formers and through the trim press.
- Assists in the production and operation of manufacturing process equipment.
- Prepares production logs, product tags and time cards as necessary.
- Operates scrap grinder as required and understands recycle system.
- Follows and participates in plant safe housekeeping guidelines designed to ensure a safe work environment.
- Remains compliant with SQF / BRC / HACCP requirements as per this location’s written “Food Safety & Quality Policy”
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience is highly preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a repetitive or continuous fashion.
