Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As an EDI Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless electronic communication between our company and its trading partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing and managing EDI solutions, specifically using Trusted Link, to enhance efficiency and accuracy in data exchange.

Responsibilities:

Implementation and Maintenance:

Lead the implementation of Trusted Link and IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) for EDI, ensuring successful integration with internal systems and external partners.

Continuously monitor and maintain the EDI system to guarantee optimal performance and data accuracy.

Coordination with Trading Partners:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external trading partners to establish and maintain EDI connections.

Act as the primary point of contact for EDI-related inquiries and issue resolution.

Documentation and Training:

Develop comprehensive documentation for EDI processes and procedures.

Conduct training sessions for internal teams on EDI best practices and troubleshooting.

Compliance and Standards:

Stay current with EDI industry standards and ensure the company's EDI processes comply with relevant regulations.

Monitor and implement updates to Trusted Link and IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) software as needed to align with industry standards.

Problem Resolution:

Investigate and resolve EDI-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions in business operations.

Implement proactive measures to identify potential issues and address them before they impact data exchange.


Qualifications:

Proven experience as an EDI Coordinator, with experience in Trusted Link and IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG) a plus.

In-depth knowledge of EDI standards, protocols, and file formats.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supply chain operations is a plus.
