Opportunity to join a global leader in the renewable energy sector. This growing business is looking for a recently qualified accountant with a Practice / Audit background who is looking for a move into industry with significant commercial exposure. You will be responsible for the financial obligations across a portfolio of assets in the renewables space. This role has plenty of client exposure, working with some of the worlds leading energy investors and investment managers. Excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant from practice who wants a platform to progress. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and distribution calculations.
  • Oversee statutory compliance and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
  • Support the audit process and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvements in accounting processes and reporting.
  • Review the team's preparation of monthly management accounts, providing guidance on any issues or challenges that arise.
  • Serve as the trusted business partner and primary contact for any escalations, client concerns, or proposals.
  • Prepare and deliver regular cashflow forecasts and distribution calculations, including clear bridge analysis.
  • Lead the coordination of the annual budgeting process, ensuring full approval from the board.
  • Compile quarterly board reports and present the financial sections at board meetings.

Qualifications:
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years of relevant experience.
