An industry leading business offering hybrid working are seeking a Credit Controller. This is a great opportunity to join an established and friendly finance team offering great company benefits.

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to focus on mitigating risks and maximising profits by ensuring credit issued by the company is paid in full and on time. You will be continually looking for ways to make the debt collecting process more accessible, more punctual and beneficial for both the company and the customer.

To be considered for the Credit Controller opportunity you do need to have gained previous credit control experience gained in a manufacturing environment. It is essential you possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with competent IT skills.


Credit Controller duties and responsibilities;
  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors.
  • Handling credit assessments.
  • Negotiating payment plans.
  • Maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assessing credit applications and determining which clients receive lines of
    credit.
  • Reviewing credit rankings with Credit rating agencies on a regular basis
  • Notifying clients of missed payments.
  • Creating protocols for payments.
  • Producing weekly report on status of aged debtors
  • Responding to relevant client enquiries
  • Monitoring daybooks and uploading invoices and credit notes to Invoice Discounting account daily.
  • Reconciliation of Invoice Discounting accounts monthly.
  • Assist with AP and Invoicing where needed and to cover holidays and sickness.
  • Other admin duties as required by Management Accountant / Head of Finance.

Working Hours Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm
