Description
- Communicating directly with customers to chase aged debt and resolve queries
- Reviewing POD's and investigating queries
- Establishing corrective actions for queries and raising corrective invoices and credits on the ERP system
- Ensuring customers are operating within approved credit limits, placing orders on hold where required
- Sending customer statements on a weekly basis
- Allocation of customer payments within ERP system and management of customer deductions
- Regular reporting of aged debtors
- Highlighting and escalating potential issues to the Financial Controller via weekly meetings
- Review and improve accounts receivable processes where deemed necessary
- Working closely with supply chain to establish better processes and resolve queries
- Month end reporting of sales information and debtor positions
Profile
A successful Credit Controller (Part Time) should have:
- Previous experience in a credit control
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
