Our client is a global leader in manufacturing, poised for expansion. They are seeking dedicated operatives to bolster their production capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and maintain production machinery in a fast-paced factory environment.
- Ensure accuracy in transferring numbers and maintain clear handwriting.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organization within the work area.
- Demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination and prioritize safety at all times.
- Approach tasks with a methodical yet efficient mindset, emphasizing quality without cutting corners.
- Exhibit keen observation skills and attention to detail.
- Utilize hand-held scanners effectively.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in PC usage.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including days and nights.
- Experience in manufacturing operations is preferred.
- RTITB Counter Balance Forklift license is advantageous but not mandatory.
Shift Pattern:
- 4 on/4 off, with 12-hour shifts covering both day and night rotations.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate: £15.79 (Inclusive of shift premium).
Additional Information:
- Candidates with a background in manufacturing will be given preference.
