As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-set lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.

• Use your Welsh language skills to communicate with pupils and staff in both English and Welsh.

• Ensure a positive and supportive learning environment is maintained.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring that students stay on task.

• Provide feedback to the teaching team and report any issues or concerns.

This role is ideal for graduates, teaching assistants, aspiring teachers, or those with experience working with young people in a professional setting.

• ? Fluent Welsh speaker - both written and spoken.

• ? Confidence leading a classroom and managing behaviour.

• ? Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic about working with young people.

• ? Previous school-based experience is beneficial but not essential - full training provided.

• ? Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one) and registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
