Assistant Accountant

This company is known for its unique product offering, supporting local and global organisations due to its efficiency and positively supporting business operations. Due to a change within the existing team, the requirement for a full-time, permanent Assistant Accountant has become available.Your new roleIn your new role, you will be a main point of contact for all daily transactional finance tasks from purchase and sales ledger invoice processing through to taking accounts to trial balance. This role will require someone to be confident in an ever-adapting finance role, applying attention to detail and accuracy in all core requirements; managing complex reconciliations, payment runs and producing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders to review.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed, you will be an ambitious and dedicated finance professional who can demonstrate a strong background in core finance tasks, applying themselves in an independent role in a small team. You will be a confident communicator who can produce and present financial information to non-financial stakeholders as well as managing any queries raised both internally and externally relating to the accounts. Previous experience using QuickBooks is essential to succeed.What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive base salary of up to £35,000 per annum and the opportunity to join a small but established team.
