Role Overview:We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of consulting experience and be either chartered or nearly chartered. You will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and delivering a range of structural engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design process for a variety of projects, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Provide expert advice and consultancy services to clients, maintaining and developing strong relationships.
- Manage and mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated and sustainable solutions.
- Prepare detailed reports, calculations, and drawings using industry-standard software.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a consulting environment.
- Chartered or nearly chartered status (ICE, IStructE, or equivalent).
- Strong technical expertise in structural engineering principles and practices.
- Proven experience in managing and delivering complex projects.
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with industry trends.
