Role:Maintenance Electrician (Static)

Salary:42,000

Main Purpose:
We are seeking a skilled FM Technician with an electrical background to carry out general maintenance tasks and electrical planned preventive maintenance (PPMs). You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our facilities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out both PPM & reactive works.
  • Monitoring the BMS (Building Management System) with full training provided.
  • Conducting emergency lighting testing.
  • Identifying faults and completing PPM tasks efficiently and within set time schedules.
  • Ensuring a safe and clean working environment is maintained at all times.
  • Upholding high levels of client satisfaction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Taking responsibility for the execution of all assigned operations and reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
  • Introducing and implementing innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in line with BS EN ISO
    9001:2000
    requirements.
  • Offering professional oversight and monitoring of works to meet quality standards.
  • Committing to ongoing professional development.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Competency in fault finding and carrying out PPM tasks within set timeframes.
  • Experience in emergency lighting testing.
  • Knowledge of Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is desirable.
  • 17th/18th Edition qualification is a plus.

Person Specification:

  • This role requires an individual with a strong electrical background.
  • Shifts will operate on a 4x4 pattern (12-hour shifts) alternating between night (8 pm - 8 am) and day (8 am - 8 pm).
  • 24 days of holiday, including bank holidays.
