Sonic Summary

Reed Engineering is seeking a Fabricator/Plater for a permanent position in Aberdeen for upcoming projects.
The role requires candidates to have time-served experience in a relevant discipline, with the ability to work in both metric and imperial units.
The hourly rate for this position is £21.07, which includes a nightshift allowance of 1.3x.
Candidates with welding qualifications will have an advantage, and a driving licence is also required.
The working hours are Monday to Wednesday from 9pm to 7am, and Thursday from 9pm to 6am.

Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who is looking to add a Fabricator/Plater to their team on a permanent basis for upcoming projects. You’ll be based in Aberdeen.

Hours: Monday – Wednesday 9pm – 7am, Thursday 9pm – 6am

Hourly Rate: £21.07 (1.3x nightshift allowance)

Daily Duties –

Mark, cut, shape, and assemble tack weld structural fabrications
Work accurately to specifications and tolerances
Working with materials such as carbon steel, aluminium, and stainless steel
Read and interpret drawings and technical data

Candidate Requirements –

Time-served with a relevant discipline
Able to work in metric and imperial units
Welding qualifications (advantage)
Driving Licence
