Aftermarket Sales ManagerWe are seeking a proactive and experienced Aftermarket Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across various market segments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving aftermarket sales activities, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction for all products within the portfolio. This role requires strong sales leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams.Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and Drive Sales Activities: Proactively drive aftermarket sales activities in collaboration with the responsible product groups. Utilize established sales reporting tools to monitor and optimize sales performance.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster relationships with customers through effective communication and coordination of meetings and activities. Act as the main contact person for defined customers, ensuring they receive prompt and accurate assistance.
  • Marketing Initiatives: Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance product recognition and promote campaigns, service letters, system upgrades, and lifecycle management initiatives.
  • Maintenance Planning and Support: Coordinate maintenance planning activities and collaborate with spares, technical support, sales support, and aftermarket product sales teams to ensure seamless customer service.
  • Service Agreements: Secure service agreements for strategically important customers, gaining approval from senior management as needed.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Take ownership of customer satisfaction, serving as the primary escalation point for customer issues and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Commercial Proposals: Prepare commercial proposals for new functionalities, modifications, and retrofit/refit/conversion solutions in line with product lifecycle strategies.
  • Market Familiarization: Understand customer operations and needs to proactively offer relevant products and services.
  • Internal Communication: Facilitate communication within sales teams and collaborate effectively with Global Sales & Marketing departments.
  • Budgeting and Reporting: Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and recommendations based on market analysis and customer feedback.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate customer information in the CRM system to facilitate effective sales and relationship management.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure compliance with organizational processes and procedures.
  • Performance Metrics: Report on agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track and improve sales performance.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Projects to drive innovation and efficiency in sales processes.
  • Travel: Travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support business activities.

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in aftermarket sales, technical sales, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership and customer relationship management.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
