Engage Talent Partners are pleased to be working with a well-established oil and gas service company to source a Logistics Coordinator for their Aberdeen office.

Suitable candidates will have experience within a logistical environment, have relevant industry experience and have good knowledge of road marine, aviation legislative regulations and guidelines along with dangerous goods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To arrange transport by road, sea, or air for deliveries within the UK and International.
  • Input and liaise with project teams to ensure all logistics requirements and potential issues are highlighted and considered at the earliest opportunity.
  • Raise all Commercial Invoice paperwork and export/import certification for shipments as required for each job.
  • Liaise with Transport Companies to arrange shipments taking into consideration all restrictions and legal/shipping requirements.
  • Ensuring deliveries arrive at location in a safe manner and reporting on damage or discrepancies to stakeholders.
  • Raise necessary client and offshore logistics paperwork for shipments offshore.
  • Maintain control and advice on all shipping costs.
  • Liaise with projects team on fulfillment of projects and changes to schedules and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure all export and import documentation is maintained and held in compliance with customs & exercise and all legal requirements.
  • Ensure all shipments with dangerous goods items are highlighted to freight forwarder and all relevant MSDS sent along as reference.
  • Ensure all shipments subject to export licensing are recorded adequately for reporting back to HMRC.
  • Support with expediting of all purchase orders.

The successful candidate will be computer literate, have excellent communication, organisational skills, and have experience with dangerous goods. They will be able to work under pressure and react effectively to operational challenges.
