We are looking for an experienced, Technical Operations Manager to lead our rapidly growing domestic installations team in the North of Scotland, with opportunities to develop throughout our wider business.

Core responsibilities/duties include:

  • To provide technical support to ensure control of and compliance with all installation and safety processes
  • Optimise operational resource  to ensure projects are consistently completed in line with agreed service standards & project deadlines
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions to any technical or service related matters
  • Drive business improvements in  service quality and process efficiency, supporting operational management with the implementation 
  • Ensure operational procedures and control documentation are regularly reviewed and updated with changes in line with relevant standards
  • Measure  individual staff and team performance progressively, leading appropriate actions in order to improve efficiency and service quality
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and coach team members, coordinating their ongoing training and career  development 
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a culture of best practice 
  • Ensure exacting standards of installation and product quality are consistently delivered to our customers 

Profile:

  • Proven management experience  
  • Background and education in a technical discipline ( this role would suit an engineer who has moved in to management – someone who understands quality monitoring and able to drive continuous improvement)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving
  • The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
