Job Purpose:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products. This includes planning, organizing, and coordinating all production activities, managing the production team, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules. Ensure resources are allocated efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Team Leadership & Management: Lead, supervise, and motivate the production team, ensuring high levels of productivity and morale. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards by overseeing quality assurance processes. Implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain product quality..
  • Budgeting & Cost Control: Work with senior management to develop production budgets and control costs, minimizing waste and inefficiencies.
