Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Workshop Supervisor to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in Dyce.

Hours: Monday – Friday (39hrs) or condensed 4-day week

Salary: Depending on Experience

Daily Duties –

  • Manage fabrication and machining projects in production identifying appropriate resources, equipment and allocation of work areas
  • Schedule production effectively to ensure delivery of projects are within budgeted man-hours
  • Ensure plant, equipment and production tools are available, maintained, calibrated and serviced
  • Check timesheets verifying hours are correct and booked to correct job
  • Attend meetings to aid business and organisational development
  • Complete detailed handovers for nightshift, advise PRP’s when projects are ready for NDT/PLT, and manage coating activities

Candidate Requirements –

  • Experience within a machine or fabrication shop
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  • Manage pressure and conflicting demands to prioritise tasks and workload
  • Previous experience in a similar role
