Reed Engineering are working alongside our client who are looking to add a Workshop Supervisor to their team on a permanent basis. You’ll be based in Dyce.
Hours: Monday – Friday (39hrs) or condensed 4-day week
Salary: Depending on Experience
Daily Duties –
- Manage fabrication and machining projects in production identifying appropriate resources, equipment and allocation of work areas
- Schedule production effectively to ensure delivery of projects are within budgeted man-hours
- Ensure plant, equipment and production tools are available, maintained, calibrated and serviced
- Check timesheets verifying hours are correct and booked to correct job
- Attend meetings to aid business and organisational development
- Complete detailed handovers for nightshift, advise PRP’s when projects are ready for NDT/PLT, and manage coating activities
Candidate Requirements –
- Experience within a machine or fabrication shop
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Manage pressure and conflicting demands to prioritise tasks and workload
- Previous experience in a similar role
