Senior Personnel Recruitment Officer

Location: Aberdeen (Hybrid Working 3 days in Altens office)

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (40 hrs – half-day Fridays)

Salary Circa: £40K- £44K DOE

Reed HR are seeking a dedicated Senior Personnel Recruitment Officer to lead a busy Recruitment Team, for our well-respected client within the offshore industry. The successful candidate will support department heads with recruitment and selection strategies, ensuring best practices and compliance with policies and legislation, while coordinating recruitment activities and conducting interviews.

Responsibilities Include:

• Mentoring and guiding the Recruitment Team in daily recruitment activities, preparing for future requirements and reviewing recruitment methods and current market trends
• Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle, reviewing CVs, conducting interviews and developing a pool of candidates
• Advising managers and heads of, on best recruitment practices, ensuring adherence to Maritime Labour Convention
• Promoting digitalisation and automation in recruitment processes
• Reviewing job descriptions, contracts of employment and agency PSLs as well as preparing weekly recruitment reports

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Significant recruitment experience at a senior level, preferably in offshore or drilling
• HR or Recruitment Qualification is desirable
• Knowledge of UK/International Employment Legislation and Regulations
• Proactive, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
