I'm currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching assistant to work in a variety of schools covering the Blaenau Gwent area. This SEN Teaching assistant position is looking to start after the February half term, with opportunities for the job developing into a longer term role.
SEN Teaching Assistant role in Blaenau Gwent includes:
- To assist SEN pupils in lessons and general academic activities.
- Supporting the teacher in dealing with challenging behaviour.
- Be able to understand and be empathetic towards pupils and their situations.
- Able to be resilient and have a good work ethic.
- Help some SEN pupils in 1 to 1 situations.
