Job Description:Are you a Band 6 Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting locum role in North Wales? We have a fantastic opportunity available in the Acute Frailty Team with competitive pay and flexibility!

What You’ll Be Doing:As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will be working within a dynamic and supportive Acute Frailty Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments for frail and elderly patients
  • Developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation and care plans
  • Working with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes
  • Delivering evidence-based interventions to promote independence and improve quality of life
  • Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to patients, families, and carers

Requirements & Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and valid HCPC registration
  • Previous experience working within a frailty or acute care setting
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in delivering rehabilitation and promoting independence for elderly patients
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care

Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role offers a flexible working arrangement, with full-time hours required but part-time applicants are also encouraged to apply. The contract duration is 4 months, with the potential to extend based on performance and service needs.
